New Website Launched

Today we launched our new website, with layouts for both mobile and desktop.

“It was time for a refresh” says Nick Humphries, founder and Managing Director.

With 58% of web traffic now being on mobile devices, it was important to design for mobile first, and then create the desktop/laptop version after that.

We also took a modern approach to content/image generation, using both traditional photography and AI-generated images. We see the future of photography making use of AI tools, both for touching-up traditional photos (speeding up manual editing) as well as rapidly producing prototypes and generic images using generative AI.

We decided to use Squarespace due to its ease-of-use. Yes we are software developers and understand very complex systems, but see the importance of “right-sizing” and having a website that can also be edited by non-technical staff. The Squarespace templating and grid-system is easy to use, and creates consistent pages layouts, but has the downside of not allowing fine-grained pixel-perfect adjustments.

We will continue adding examples, case studies, and articles to our website over the coming months. If you have any feedback on what articles you would be interested in, please let us know.
