Do we need a data warehouse?

Not necessarily. Existing reports or a direct connection may be sufficient. A separate warehouse may help when reporting needs to combine sources, preserve history or support more complex analysis.

Are you a Google Cloud Partner?

Yes. We are listed in Google's partner directory. Google approved our data solution for BigQuery in 2024. We use Google Cloud where it suits the project, alongside tools such as Power BI.

Can you use the tools we already have?

That depends on what they can connect to and the reporting requirements. Existing licences, access controls and maintenance needs are relevant to the choice.

How current will the reports be?

Refresh timing depends on source system access, data volumes and how current the information needs to be. The report should make that timing clear to its users.

What about sensitive data?

The reporting setup needs to account for who can access the source records, where data is stored and which details each audience needs to see.
